Lady Lion netters toppled Crushers, 5

JOHNSTOWN — Chestnut Ridge blanked Bishop McCort, 5-0, in varsity tennis action, Thursday.

Haley Hundley blanked her Crusher opponent at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0; while Jenna Mauck added a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 2. Meghan Restley concluded the sweep in the singles with a 6-2, 6-0 No. 3 victory.

Sylvia Farabaugh and Bailey Sayers battled back after dropping the opening set to win, 4-6, 7-5, 10-6.

Aubrey Taylor and Gabby Barnes won, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2 doubles.

Chestnut Ridge, 2-1, visits Westmont Hilltop on Tuesday.
