Crushers fall at Joliet, 5

Todd Isaacs drove in Jarrod Watkins in the sixth, and that was the extent of the Crushers’ offense in a 5-1 loss at Joliet on Aug. 4.

Isaacs, Watkins and Zach Racusin each had two hits for Lake Erie (27-43), which struck out 15 times.

Trevor Kuncl tossed a scoreless seventh, striking out two.

The teams continue their series at 7:05 p.m. Aug. 5.
