Crushers head into all

Visiting Lake Erie lead, 2-0, after two innings at Schaumburg but the host scored six runs in the the next two innings and rolled to a 9-4 victory.

The Crushers head into their all-star break at 22-29.

Zach Racusin was the offensive star for Lake County with three hits and an RBI. Sean Cheely had a triple, RBI and stolen base.

Jonaiker Villalobos started and took the loss. He went three innings, allowed three hits and three runs, walked three and struck out three.

Schaumburg’s Quentin Selma had two hits, three RBI, two runs and a home run.

Lake Erie’s next game is July 14 at home against Ottawa. First pitch is 7:05 p.m.
